Rock climbing being a physical exercise, I would like to be informed of any relevant medical condition or previous injuries in order to make your experience more enjoyable and prevent further injury. Do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything that could be a concern.
Regarding health and safety, if you are wearing any personal jewellery, it’s best to remove it. Finger rings especially should be removed, and necklaces are also an extra risk. Watches are often scratched while climbing and should be removed to avoid any damage.
If you have long hair, you should attach it, in order to avoid it being caught inside a belay device.
Unfortunately you are not Wolverine…
Therefore, long finger or toe nails might also be hurting you when climbing, and are best kept short.
Do not hesitate contacting me should you have any concerns about your upcoming course.
